IEA Exhibits at the AIHA 27th Annual Professional Development Conference

Today, IEA (Institute for Environmental Assessment, Inc.) was honored to participate as an exhibitor at the 27th Annual AIHA Professional Development Conference held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Roseville, Minneapolis. This event gathered top professionals in occupational health and safety, and we were excited to be part of this influential gathering.

Representing IEA were Mary Ferrian, Amy Satterfield, and Daniel Holcomb. Our team had a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry leaders, discuss advancements in environmental health, and share IEA’s ongoing dedication to workplace safety and sustainability.

Event Highlights and Key Sessions

The conference included several impactful sessions, including:

  • SDM 2.0 Exposure Assessment Modeling Tool presented by Dr. Susan Arnold, who shared this structured approach to chemical exposure assessment, used globally for improving risk assessments.
  • Principles of Good Practice in Exposure Judgement by Dr. John Mulhausen, which covered risk-critical practices and guidance to improve exposure judgments.
  • Ethics for Health and Safety Professionals by Mark Katchen, CIH, focusing on ethical decision-making and its role in occupational health and safety.
  • MNOSHA Update led by Ron Anderson, CIH, providing essential updates on regulatory changes and safety standards affecting the Minnesota workforce.

Our team gained valuable insights from MNOSHA’s presentation, which reinforced the importance of up-to-date safety practices and regulatory compliance.

We look forward to applying these insights and continuing to enhance workplace safety for our clients and communities.
