The Account Manager is a challenging, field-based role involving the management of accounts.  Daily routines include coordinating client needs, working with internal associates to complete field tasks, completion of field tasks themselves, program development, training, and coordinating deliverables.  Account Managers are responsible for managing 5 to 20 client relationships (depending on size of client) and the maintenance of their relationships and needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree and/or experience in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Construction Management field (preferred).
  • Asbestos Site Supervisor, Asbestos Inspector, MN 2-Day Air and NIOSH 582 certifications (preferred).
  • Willingness and ability to obtain the above certifications within 1 year of hire or meet the experience requirements listed below (preferred):
  • 2,000 hours of work experience in general construction trades, asbestos-related work, safety, industrial hygiene, or hazardous materials control; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical or life sciences, engineering, or architecture and 500 hours of work experience in the areas listed above; or
  • Completion of an apprentice program within the general commercial construction trades.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is expected.

The typical salary range for this position ranges from $55,000 – $65,000 per year.   The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.  Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
