The Environmental Technician is a dynamic, field-based role, involving independent work at various client sites. Daily routines include conducting on-site assessments, inspections, program development, and various sampling protocols.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree and/or experience in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Construction Management field (preferred).
- Asbestos Site Supervisor, Asbestos Inspector, MN 2-Day Air and NIOSH 582 certifications (preferred).
- Willingness and ability to obtain the above certifications within 1 year of hire or meet the experience requirements listed below:
- 2,000 hours of work experience in general construction trades, asbestos-related work, safety, industrial hygiene, or hazardous materials control; or
- Bachelor’s degree in physical or life sciences, engineering or architecture and 500 hours of work experience in the areas listed above; or
- Completion of an apprentice program within the general commercial construction trades.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check
